In ancient Japanese legends the tanuki are a type of ghost called “bake-danuki.” Tanukis are shapeshifters who like to trick and fool people to make them seem stupid. A Tanuki is typically depicted with an over-sized scrotum to symbolize financial luck. This is why our Tanuki App showers coins when the time is up!
